Chris Evangel
Chris Evangel serves as the Managing Director and Principal for CLE Global Partners. Prior to CLE Global Partners, Chris spent a combined 30+ years on Wall Street, first as a Senior Vice President at Moody’s Investors Service and then as the Managing Director of the Securities Valuation Office (SVO) for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
Chris has deep credit assessment/risk experience across all asset classes, including corporate, structured, and municipal. He has consistently managed large groups of credit analysts with performance metrics considered best-in-class. He has spearheaded investment and economic research groups that produces market-leading publications. Throughout his professional career, Chris also served as the Senior Chair of numerous Credit Committees. Prior to his Wall Street experience, Chris worked at the Executive Office of the President’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in Washington D.C. He was selected as a Presidential Management Intern and assigned to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
Chris earned a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. As an undergraduate, he majored in economics, political science, and urban planning, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University. He recently completed a Fellowship program at the State University of New York’s Neil Levin Institute on Entrepreneurial Consultancy. Throughout the years, Chris has spoken at numerous conferences and provided educational lectures such as Columbia University’s Actuarial Society.
Lynda Weber
Lynda Weber serves as the Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Principal for CLE Global Partners. Prior to CLE Global Partners, Lynda spent five years on Wall Street with the Securities Valuation Office (SVO) of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
Lynda has extensive project management, education, and organizational development experience. She provided strategic support in SVO dealings with various constituents, including insurance companies, trade associations, investment banking firms, rating agencies, commissioners, financial market participants and state insurance department staff. In addition, Lynda was responsible for the creation of primary reports which highlighted financial market trends and economic news, organized and implemented a reorganization of the SVO operating structure, and led highly acclaimed outreach programs between the SVO and state regulatory organizations.
Prior to her time at the SVO, Lynda consulted for Financial Advisors in the Wealth Management industry. In that role, she analyzed mutual funds and developed portfolios, executed marketing campaigns, developed client segmentation platforms, and provided overall practice management strategies to financial advisors. She also spent several years as an educator in various New York and Connecticut school systems. Lynda attended Pace University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.
